Excerpt from A Memoir of the Life and Ministry of Ann Freeman

The object of my dear wife's writing, and of my publishing the following account, was to testify of the grace of Jesus Christ; that those who are seeking the full liberty of the Gospel, may be encouraged to persevere; and to stir up the pure mind in all, by setting forth this declaration of the sufficiency of the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse from all sin.

Those whose opinions differ with regard to doctrine and wor ship, will, most likely, conceive different sentiments with regard to the subject of these memoirs; but those who bring it in gen eral, and in each particular, to the sure touchstone, the witness of the Spirit of God, will judge righteous judgment such having true discernment, according to the measure of the gift of Christ received.
